Balthazar is weak in close combat, so engage him in melee combat to take advantage of this.

Position your companions in the center of the arena to minimize the impact of Balthazar’s teleportation and area-of-effect attacks.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Balthazar Utilize Spells and Abilities:
Use spells like Cloud of Daggers to deal mass damage to Balthazar and his summoned minions. Potions such as Silence, Protection from Poison, and Spirit Guardians can provide additional advantages in the battle. Abilities like Beacon of Hope, Divine Smite, and Thorn Whip can be effective against Balthazar and his army.
